Conrad Schnitzler (1937-2011) był jednym z najważniejszych przedstawicieli niemieckiej muzyki elektronicznej awangardy. Uczeń Josepha Beuysa, założył w Berlinie legendarny Zodiak Arts Lab, klub subkultura.

 

W 1967/68, był członkiem Tangerine Dream, Kluster, Cluster...wydał także liczne solowe albumy.

 

"Contempora" jest swego rodzaju zbiorem szkiców odzwierciedlających niewyczerpane siły twórcze Schnitzlera w postaci skroplonej. "Contempora" ponownie podkreśla szlachetny etos Schnitzlera.
